The A.G.M. Meeting 2025 - 21-09-2025
The A.G.M. meeting was attended by only 6 members of whom 3 paid their annual £15 memebership fees.
I know a few of our regular members were unable to attend and did let us know but this is not a good enough attendance to make it worthwhile carrying on. We only have one more indoor meeting left this year which is on the 19th of November when we will cover the use of resin on Walking Sticks.
Our Demonstration today was an excellent one by ex-naval man Billy Bean, who demonstrated his excellent decorative ropework (knot tying) on a stick supplied by Dave Ballantyne. This work is shown in the photos below, it was absolutelty fascinating to watch and we are indebted to Billy for the "Turks Head" knot.
