Other Quality makers include: Henty Taylor, Pfiel, Robert Sorby, Addis, Herring Brothes and Kirschen. Old tools often have the craftsman's name stamped into the wooden handle and often indicate a quality tool
Ringwood Woodcarvers are a group of like-minded hobbyists who meet as a self-help group.
Although none of us are professional carvers, the more experienced carvers are pleased to give guidance when needed.

We meet at the St Leonards & St Ives Village Hall, Braeside Road, St Ives BH24 2PH
on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month, from 6-30pm till about 9-00pm.
There is a £5.00 membership fee each year to cover insurance and a charge of £5.00 for each meeting attended.
We don't aim to make a profit but surplus funds are used to purchase tools and equipment that members may borrow or purchase.
