The “RINGWOOD WOODCARVERS” are a self-help group who look after each other with the purpose of encouraging members in the art of Woodcarving.

Whilst we do our best to keep people safe with sensible advice, we cannot be held responsible for any self-inflicted injury, in other words:

MEMBERS ATTEND AT THEIR OWN RISK

 

If one of us injures another member, or a member of the public whilst demonstrating at one of our published events, then our craft Insurance with IAN WALLACE will cover us against third party liability.

Other Quality makers include: Henty Taylor, Pfiel, Robert Sorby, Addis, Herring Brothes and Kirschen. Old tools often have the craftsman's name stamped into the wooden handle and often indicate a quality tool 

Ringwood Woodcarvers are a group of like-minded hobbyists who meet as a self-help group.

Although none of us are professional carvers, the more experienced carvers are pleased to give guidance when needed.

CONSTITUTION:

WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING NEW MEMBERS -

TOOLS AND TIMBER CAN BE PROVIDED

We meet at the St Leonards & St Ives Village Hall, Braeside  Road, St Ives BH24 2PH 

on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month, from 6-30pm till about 9-00pm.

There is a £5.00 membership fee each year to cover insurance and a charge of £5.00 for each meeting attended.

We don't aim to make a profit but surplus funds are used to purchase tools and equipment that members may borrow or purchase.
